People who appreciate the simple things in life. Like the array of colors on a rusty old faded green truck created by a hard working farmer, the beauty of a bouquet of fresh cut zinnias and the smell of their freshly cut stems, the breath of a sheep on your skin that literally sends goosebumps down your spine, then capturing these moments in photos to pass down from generation to generation.

 I offer simple reminders that life literally seems to stand still when we enjoy the simple things nature and the good 'ol days have to offer. A reminder of how our grandparents worked so intently on supporting and feeding their families out in the garden, on the farm, in their old farm trucks. Patina designed by those farmers with their left arm hangin' out the window, beat up truck beds from loading hundreds of fence posts and worn off paint from leaning over the hood. Farmer's wives in their aprons for gathering eggs, veggies from the garden, spending hours in the kitchen and drying their worn out hands. 

Lordy be, take us back to the good 'ol days when technology didn't drive us, when instead we worked hard and long days in our beat up trucks which were once shiny and new. When we all sat down to a meal together as a family that we worked so hard to provide. 

For those days, I am eternally grateful. Please join me in honoring the hardest working bunch that ever lived.
